I think it is a love story with a message: “Don’t let material things come between you and God - Always put God first.”
For He knows who holds tomorrow. As one of my favorite Carpenter’s song goes,”We’ve Only Begun to Live”.My friends - there is a place where there’s room to grow, with so much of life ahead. I hope each of you enjoys life to the fullest
and watch the signs along the way.I also hope you will shout a big hello to Lauren ... read her work and then write a review for her.
She has some charming heroes and spitfire, sassy heroines in her “G” rated stories.Jeannie Walker (Award-Winning Author)

Very sweet - a lesson in listening to God!
What a lovely story! Severed Hearts started a little slow, but once you get a feel for the characters, it grabs you by the heart and just sweeps you along. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
The doubts and fears both Julie and Johnny go through are so true of most or our own insecurities. It's easy to doubt what we feel, what we see, what we think, when we try to guide our own lives without God to lead us.
The message here is sweet and clear and God's love shines through it all.
Very nice, Ms. Brooks. I very much enjoyed Severed Hearts!
