    Drama

Three women on different quests while surviving the rough streets of Brooklyn and dealing with diverse consequences. Jinx is a well-educated female who lived a troubled childhood and other family issues that pushes her to find love in a man that she never experienced before. She also has a strong gift that causes her to dream certain incidents that will later play a major role in her life. She is determined to do what is necessary to accomplish her goal but will she make the right choices? Kesha is a female detective, married with three kids and living the streets of Brooklyn. She has a bad sexual appetite for everyone other than her husband. She got the game twisted and did some bogus things that will lead her down the wrong road. Breezy is young, spoiled and clever chic, living in a fairly tale world. She gets everything she wants, needs, and desire - but how long will it last? Anytime there are more than two females to a group, it spells trouble. Two is enough, but three is a crowd. Well sit back and enjoy this wild and dangerous ride. This is my first read by author Crystal Lacey Winslow and I loved it! I will definitely be reading more books written by her and highly recommend this book to others.

    Kick This One For Brooklyn

Good news for Crystal Lacey Winslow's many fans: she's back with her first full length novel since 2004's Criss Cross. She gave us a sneak preview of what was to come in her short story Sex, Sin & Brooklyn featured in Four Degrees of Heat. Sex, Sin & Brooklyn, the novel, reverberates through interwoven stories of four women. Is Brooklyn ready for Breezy, Jinx, Kesha, and Nicoli? More importantly, are you? You can't keep a strong woman down. Having recovered from a vicious assault, Nicoli is ready to get her house in order. That includes reclaiming the love of her life and father of her child, Black King. Black, devastated by Nicoli's past betrayal, has moved on with his life. Is Nicoli too late or do all wounds heal with time? Why is a good man so hard to find? Well Jinx is tired of trying to figure out and takes a three year sabbatical from men. Content with her family, friends and love for designing, Jinx is caught off guard when a good man finds her. Opening herself to love, does Jinx find more trouble having a man than doing without? Kesha, unlike her friends, is a married mother of three. Her husband is Mr. Mom while she puts her life on the line everyday as a detective in the Narcotics Unit. When the line between right and wrong becomes blurred, which side will Kesha choose? Brooklyn bombshell Breezy is used to having things her way, at any cost. That doesn't change when she sets her sights on her golden goose...one Black King, who just happens to be the father of her cousin's child, Nicoli. Will Breezy prevail? Crystal Lacey Winslow again showcases her talent in this provocatively crafted novel. Unique characters, edgy dialogue, page-turning sex and melodrama are her trademark and her latest literary work is no exception. Sex, Sin & Brooklyn is an absorbing read and I look forward to more.

    Great Book

Well, I just order this book because I was hoping the price would go down on the book and I had others book I wanted to read. I read the other book that is in this sequel so, I already knew the characters Nicoli, a Black, and Joy even not much emphasis was place on her. WOW! WOW! is all I can say. The author hit you with some major drama to keep you interested. Great plot and great character to spice up the book. I am so glad that Breezy, Keisha, Reggie, Kelsey/Kaisher, and Lisa got what they deserved. Those are some ruthless, and evil creatures to put on the face of the earth. I am so glad Jinx made it because she is a great person to who have been put through the ringer. She may have been a little stupid at times such as Shawn and do things she doesn't need to do, but a person shouldn't have life taken from them. I am glad that things work out with Black and Nicoli even though Black shouldn't have got involved with Breezy from the beginning when he was still getting it on with Nicoli. Also, how could Black believe the lies and disceptions Breezy was telling him. Another thing to me it seems like I was getting two different personalities from Black because he could be one way with Breezy and turn into this other person with Nicoli. I want say to much about this book just in case someone wants to read this book.
