I liked parts of it. Was hard for me to like Reed though. I found him to be punkish, snobbish, non-independent and weak. I can understand coming from nothing and wanting security and a rich life but he didnt want to really work for it. Not surprised he was treated badly, although u felt for him, it was like man up! Jeesh! And then enters Gage, handsome, wealthy, nice, respectful. I didnt like how he kept saying he would "take care" of Reed. Did reed deserve better? Definitely. But he needed to grow and the book didnt show that. Its like reed tried to press the fact that he was a man but didnt act like it especially compared to cruel and cold bad guy Ash and independent caring Gage. Both men were assertive while reed wasnt at all. This was an ok story but the part i really didnt like was how the author had gage's brother flirting with reed at the hospital while gage is all messed up and like in a coma when they first met, that was very "creepish". Anyways, ok read wouldnt lend it though.
