An Eye-Opener, for sure!
Shackles of Faith is an eye-opener to those who don't think there are religious cults out there...and this one is close to home for me! I had no idea this was and still is going on to this extreme. You'll feel for Mark as he explains how he got lured into the cult and how it destroyed his family life, how he's coping with his losses and dealing with his religious struggle to find his one true faith. He certianly had courage to face his demons and I commend him for not giving in to the fanatical, brainwashed group who follow this lunatic. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. The book keeps your attention and is an easy weekend read. It would be a great book for a church club to discuss or even a religion class. Great for teenagers, too...for all ages.
