The traffic coming through the portals that connect Earths vario

The traffic coming through the portals that connect Earths various dimensions is increasing, but the traffic is flowing both ways and some of the travelers are not willing. Kuma has decided that his vengeance upon the palace guards can happen on E4 or E1. He is not particular in the location as long as the guards meet his form of punishment. While Kuma is stalking guards to take down he sees them attack a woman that has gotten his interest. He is shocked to see the guards attack her due to her not physically resembling the females they usually choose to take to the Pleasure Palace.

Gwen has street smarts. She is used to taking care of herself. She pays attention to her surroundings. She knows when things are not as they should be. She just doesn’t know how to fight a being not of her plane. Luckily for Gwen she has acquired Kuma’s notice. Gwen accepts Kuma’s origins and wants to help his plight any way she can. I love her shameless ulterior motives. She wants to keep Kuma and all of his alpha male sexiness to herself on her plane.

Kuma has more than saving Gwen on his wicked mind. Oh my Kuma is one exceedingly hot and naughty werewolf. This book is hot. The sex scenes are plentiful and erotically sexy. Kuma’s fellow pack mate Teeko has a small side romance. Readers are treated to several romantically involved couples in this sexy tale.

There is a problem that begins in Unending Desire it rears its ugly head in Illicit Desire and is mentioned several times in Shameless Desire. The possibility of a resolution will obviously continue into the next book. I feel that under certain circumstances this could be seen as a tension builder, it is not working that way with this series. The Seattle detective situation feels drawn out and mentioned as only an afterthought. Perhaps it is still has the possibility to expand further. There is now the problem of people disappearing under unusual circumstances.

The Outlawed Realm series needs to be read in order. Nikoli and Regina from Unending Desire have fairly large roles in Shameless Desire. There is also a change in methods of acquiring new slaves for the Pleasure Palace that storyline needs to be followed from the beginning. Readers are treated to an update on Lukan and Arez. They still have the sweetest relationship out of all the characters in this series. It was nice to know that their happily ever after continues to get better and better.
