Made it required reading for my team...and my son loves it too!
A quick read with a very good message and to the point. A must read for anyone who has made a change from the "salary-based" career into a "commission-based" career like I did 2 years ago. I saw myself from start to finish in this book. I have made it required reading for all new associates joining our team and has been recommended to all veteran associates by our regional coordinator. I even read it to my 8-year-old son who loves the story, but better yet, gets the concept of being able to adapt and prevail if he was to ever deal with a change of environment. Since I read this book to him, he has requested for us to read it on a weekly basis.

Don't Bother
This book is basically a copy of Who Moved My Cheese, but with a shark and goldfish. It is very simple and does have meaning, but not worth the money. Instead, read The Energy Bus and The No Complaining Rule by the same author. Much better.

I'm a little hesitant of the "business fable" books (never really understood the hullabaloo regarding "Who Moved My Cheese") but The Shark and The Goldfish is on my personal list of favorite books of the year. The story was engaging and the important themes weren't lost in the fable. This is a great book to share with your entire team... start a Shark School! -
