You have to know the characters!!!

If your considering She Aint the One but this is your first Weber or Morrison book - hold off!!! Not that is an awful book (ITS MY DREAM BOOK!!!) but u have to know what led up to the events. Morrison has a series called "soulmates dissapate" READ THEM ALL! In oder. Weber has a book "married men" READ THAT! I PROMISE,PROMISE,PROMISE, PROMISE, PROMISE you will thank me in the end. These are my two FAVORITE authors by far! They both rank number one on my list, every time - for the last 14 years! When "she aint the one" came out, i preordered it! It was like a special gift from my favorite 2! MARY & CARL, THANK YOU! FOR ALL YOUR WORKS!!! I AM 1 OF BOTH OF YOUR BIGGEST FANS!

Very Impressed

THis is the first Carl Weber book i have read and i must say i loved the characters and didnt see the ending coming. It kept me on edge and i couldnt put the book down. This is a MUST READ.

Can I say just Oh my God!!!

She was really not the one... This is a good book that will make any man think twice. All I can say is watch the signs and don't get caught up. I have read a majority of her books and this one was just as good as the rest. I can't wait until she gets her just deserve...Looking forward to the next book.

OMG-Highly Recommended

This book was wonderful. I was not expecting what happened to happen. The authors did a wonderful job on this book. The title should be changed to He Ain't The One. Great read!! Perfect mixture of romance and action.

This book had me on the edge of my seat. Great story, couldnt stop reading. Really makes you think about real life situations/relationships... Wanted to read more about what happened to Ashlee! I definitely recommend this book.

BRIEF SUMMARY
Jay is in D.C starting over after his divorce. He has a particular woman in mind that made him moved to DC. While there, he is looking for love and found it in the wrong place. Ashlee is happy to get over her ex when she meets Jay. They're one night stand turns in to a relationship that becomes a nightmare.

THOUGHTS

Wow, this book was crazy and full of drama with a bit more crazy thrown in. This was not your typical romance novel with a happily ever after ending. For this book, the reviews for some sites are at least five hundred, and with others over a hundred. For most readers they either love the book or dislike the book, and I can relate to both sides with their views about this book. Also, Jay's character is from previous book by the author.

The book started out on a high note for me as I was reading along. I liked what both authors did by giving us each characters view pointed in telling the story. The first scene started out nice, with us getting to know Jay. Some of his thoughts were really funny as well as his introduction to Ashlee. By the second chapter Ashlee's thoughts and questions to herself gave you a sense of her craziness to come throughout the book. While Ashlee and Jay were getting to know each other, the story fizzled a little for me, however, with the twist and introduction of Tracy, definitely got me perky again. What followed next was a bundle of crazy, mixed with insanity. Ashlee went from jealous girlfriend, to insanely crazy and deadly ex.

I thought Jay, was so easily swayed throughout this book and that is what gets him in trouble and becomes his down fall. It annoyed me that the authors kept referring to the size of Jay's package. Pleasing to hear once or twice, ten times not hot anymore. The ending felt like you were left with a cliffhanger, but the events that took place was interesting.

As for Ashlee, you can't argue, reason or talk to crazy. It's unbelievable the lengths she goes to in this book.

I actually adored Jay. That Ashlee character however, was a different story. She pissed me off. She was utterly annoying and ridiculous. Jay was a decent man and I fell head over heels with his relationship with Tracy. Nice book...it will keep your interest.

This is a reality!

Men be aware! This was a very interesting read funny thing is I know someone who is living this very unjustly act and is currently fighting his life. Sex can be great, but also blinding. Great story about love and betrayal.

Good Read with a few flaws

This book could have been so much better. I loved the charcters and the story line, but i found the numerous explicit sex scenes to be a bit too much. It actually took away from the story for me. Overall, it was a quick read, kept me interested. But, the ending was a HUGE letdown. The book climaxed very well with the trial and one of the main characters going to jail. But then that was it there was no resolution, we have no idea what happened. Big dissapointment at the ending.
