    I Also Recommend:

Read it from start to finish

The premise of the wolves of Mercy Falls series is great. It's werewolves like we would never picture them (as real wolves). The plot throughout the three books is strong as well as the subplots. The characters, though underdeveloped, are very lovable and realistic. Maggie Stiefvater's writing style is elegant yet simplistic. The characters themselves are complex and very lovable. However, I feel that I could have gotten to know many of them better. There was something missing there. The beginning of all three books is slow going. It took me a little while to get into them but once I did, it was hard to put them down. I felt (for the first couple of books) that the whole first half could have been missing and I would have been fine with that. I have to say that I was very disappointed with the last book. It had the best plot out of all three books. It could have been edge of your seat thrilling if written more carefully and developed further. I felt as if Maggie just wanted to finish the book and gave us the main ideas minus the details. Forever started off slow (like the others). Then, just as you're getting to the good part, it was rushed. The ending could have been developed further to engage the reader in a more intense manner. Regardless, I enjoyed the series and do recommend it for all teen fiction lovers. I'm sure you will enjoy it as well.

Began this series in 8th grade absolutely LOVED. they recommend

Began this series in 8th grade absolutely LOVED. they recommend if you want a Twilight type series that has better writing, development of characters, and is overall really good. The 4th book Sinner is pretty good as well and it follows Isabelle and Cole.

Would recommend - story draws you in!

Maggie Stiefvater has written a compelling coming of age story with a twist and her heroine must ultimately readjust the truths she thought she knew about those around her. The style is fast and stylish, and the different voices give a perspective into the heart and mind of teen boys and girls alike. Better written than the Twilight saga, the fantasy comes alive but it was the sentiments that were so moving, I had to check whether Ms. Stiefvater was herself a teenage girl.

    Excellent trilogy!!!

I bought this set for my son who is 12. He just kept reading one after another. He absolutely loved the story line and characters. Maggie Stiefvater is now one of his favorite authors.
