    Enjoyable

I had this in audio form and it made for hours of good listening in the car. Nothing heavy, and nothing too gory...just fun.

Stuart Wood's latest Stone Barrington novel

Stuart Woods latest novel will please fans, although the plot is not particularly memorable, Woods has created a character in Stone Barrington who is as always, genuine and sympathetic. Woods' writing style is first class as usual, engaging and comfortable for readers. The novel stands alone, as do all of Woods' books, but for those already familiar with the protagonist it is always a pleasure.

    Fun in the sun

Nothing too complicated here: Woods' popular characters Stone Barrington and Holly Barker return to chase waves, and one-time CIA operative-turned hired gun Teddy Fay on the Caribbean island of St. Marks. Woods lulls the reader with a relaxed, tropical vacation atmosphere, then turns up the heat when the local police chief is murdered. An enjoyable beach book that you could imagine Stone or Holly reading on the St. Marks sand.
