Disappointing

His insights seemed a little shallow. I expected a bit more. Some "chapters" were less than a page.

Service, Service, Service

We are called to serve and the Bill Gates family exemplifies that call to "the max."
What a truly heartwarming story of this family and how they work to the betterment of many peoples. Bill Gates talks about family, friends and public service in his commencement speeches. What a remarkable speech to hear to send you out into the world to help others and still keep those wonderful family ties!! (They have not forsaken one for the other, both of them are truly intermixed)
The Gates family is caring, serving, loving, concerned, serving, friendly, serving, helping and a wonderful example for all of us who "want and need" to show up for others.

Inspiring

Bill Gates Sr.'s book challenges each of us to become better citizens and human beings. His stories of family life in the 50's and 60's are heartwarming.

It is a good book.

The book is full of wisdom. The writer summed up his great experiences. We can learn a lot from the book and how to teach our kids. But as we know nothing is perfect in the world. Some times the writer's statement was on his own or a sort of up class standpoint.
