Changed my life! Much better than other field guides I've encountered.

Beautifully illustrated. Easier to use than Peterson - each page has only two or three species on it, lending it a less cluttered quality, and each species is accompanies by a map of where and when it can be found, which is more convenient than other guies which tend to have several pages of tiny maps in the back, as an appendix, out of context. This is, simply put, the best guide available. Sure to make a lifetime birder out of almost anyone who loves nature.

Best bird guide on the market

Sibley's is the one bird guide that is with me all the time. I usually carry something with photographs as well, but the additional book varies upon area where my Sibley's is with me every time. It is the most useful and accurate field guide I have and I particularly like the way is shows the bird in flight as well as perched. I can't imagine birding without it!

Best Bird Guide I've Ever Seen

Beautiful guide! I've used this for a few years and just love it. The drawings are simply lovely and make it easy to identify the bird. The only downside is that the binding is not very durable and does not work well for a field guide. Other than that, it is one of the best bird guides on the market.
