I loved it!!!!! I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! I hope Ms. Johansen will always write on these characters. I loved seeing all of Eve's friends and loved ones in this trilogy. I thought it was exciting and all that a good Eve Duncan story should be. I don't think I will ever tire of her, or the spin-offs of this series.

Thanx for another sleepness night Ms. Johansen, and revealing more to the story behind what makes Eve who she is (no plot spoilers!). Can't wait to see where time takes Caleb and Jane.

Keep them coming!!

    Tired, just plain tired.

I probably shouldn't have read all 3 of this series back to back.
Iris Johansen has been one of my favorite writers for years and this series doesn't t begin to live up to her past work.

Frankly, I thought the character of Jane didn't elicit one moment of sympathy. To me she just ended up looking like a spoiled brat if she didn't t get her own way. Eve was made to look stupid much of the time. Way too much angst. Never again, good bye Eve Duncan and company.

I tried. I really tried to believe that I had not wasted my time

I tried. I really tried to believe that I had not wasted my time and money continuing to read this 'series'. This series of books was never able to redeem itself and was, in fact, a total waste. This should have been one book period. By the end of the third book I was so disgusted with the ghosts, undercurrent of pseudo vampirism, golden lighted person, animal whisperer blah, blah, blah!  I felt cheated for spending more and more money waiting for the  author to get back to her winning style.  Long (and I DO mean long) story short don't waste your time or money. I will not purchase another one of her books unless I find it in the bargain bucket at a local swap meet.  I was so frustrated when I finished the series I, actually, three the book into the trash. One book would have covered this story if not for the lengthy, unnecessary volumes of nonsensical dialog. Don't bother with this series

    Over and over again

Only Jane can have the wherewithal to find Eve!!! No!!! Only Margaret, no only Kendra, no only Catherine has what it takes + no one can tell her otherwise!!!! Wait - how can I forget about Joe!!!!!!! And why are we still hearing about Caleb + Trevor over + over, following Jane everywhere . . . some of the books are really engaging, but brother, can this author be REPETITOUS. Ah well, it's a case of percentages - sometimes she hits a home run, + others, slams her face into the dirt as she tries to slide into home base. I like the fact that Eve is such an original creation - forensic sculpting is really ingenious, + has led to some great stories - but, please Mr. or Ms. Editor, reign in the desire to drag some of these story lines into multiple volumes, + clarify some of the paranormal stuff. Talking to + hugging wild wolves, anyone?? Like the stand alone Kendra books so far, by the by. Di from Chitown
