Silent War: The Cold War Battle Beneath the Sea
I was very excited to read this book, but I guess I was expecting something new and different. Instead, I ended up with a new versoin of 'Blind Man's Bluff,' which remains, after John P. Craven's offering, the definitive book on the Cold War beneath the seas. So try 'Blind Man's Bluff.' On the other hand, even so, I did appreciate Craven's inside-baseball commentary. He is also someone who knows where he comes from, which all readers will appreciate. All in all, a good read, and a supplement to one's submariner library. I would keep this by my nighttable. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
