I really enjoyed this book. I've read almost all of her books, and this one isnt 1 of my favorites, but I really did enjoy it. I think it was different and interesting. I was surprized when I read the other reviews, alot of readers didnt like it. I love her England Regency as well as Mideval and also the Wild west ones but this was different and nice. Although it is another country with a different culture, JL makes it very easy to understand everything. She explaines it well and you also learn something. Very romantic, very dramatic...a very nice read ;0) Here are some of my other favorites :

I'm a big Johanna Lindsey fan and that is the only reason why I finished this book because I wanted to set it down forever. They didnt even meet until half way through the book! I like to re read a lot of my books but this one is not going to be one of them. I feel like...

I like to re read a lot of my books but this one is not going to be one of them. I feel like it could have been a lot better.

    Cora

Leaps in. Her strong agile body twists in the air, landing on Claw. Her paw nearly smashes his skull and she rakes his back and belly with her claws. She bites his throat. "Run, Silverstar!" She calls. "To sea song second result!"

    Love Lindsey, Disappointing Book

I love Johanna Lindsey's romantic world. The first romance I ever read was 'Captive Bride'. What I loved were the strong male characters, the chemistry between the hero/heroine and the ability she had to take you deep into another world believably. She believed in her characters, and thus, you did too. These characters were just annoying. It didn't feel like she liked them, either. Two-dimensional book from a multi-dimensional writer.
