has a bunch of great ideas, which r nice & easy especially 4 a beginner...although i had 2 youtube some of the steps just 2 make sure i had it right. =/

A helpful book -- especially for a beginner.
This is a great book for starting out. I am a beginner and the illustrations capture what I need to review. A great gift book for a beginner at knitting.

Great book for inspiring new projects and reviewing old ones.
I consider myself an average knitter. This book should be on a knitter's bookshelf as a great source for instruction, advise and inspiration to new projects.

Great book
This book is excellent for a gift to a new knitter. The projects are good and progress in skill quite nicely. I may buy a second copy for myself.

Super resource - especially for scarves
I bought the scarf section of this book as a booklet, and have worn it out. The scarves alone make this book worth buying. The instructions are CORRECT, which is amazing considering the number of corrections I've had to download for other pattern books. I will keep a copy of this in my permanent collection, and never loan it out!
