I read this book in 2 days. I could not put it down. The author really developed her chararcters. There were quite a bit of mystery as the story was unfolded. I really like the message of hope she gave those who may experience what her main characters experienced. The was just layer and layer of problems but at their faith prevailed and forgiveness reigned. I enjoyed it. I will be looking for the other 8 books the author wrote. I would really recommend this book if you love romance, mystery and are in need of hope.

Bargin Book reading

This is a great book to read if you are looking for an easy read and if you find it on the bargin table for under Five dollars. I enjoy the story of the Black familly but I don't believe Roby is a very creative writer.

What was the point of this novel?

I was very disappointed with this book. It was way to predictable. I usually read Kimberla Lawson Roby's books in less than a week and it took me a whole month to read this one. It is time to end the Rev. Curtis Black saga. I hope we do not have to wait another year for another disappointing story.

Not the Kimberla I'm used to reading

I was very disappointed with this book. I usually read her books in one day, but this book was drawn out with details that were not needed, and drama that was way to predictable. Hopefully she will move on to another subject because she really is a great writer, but I think it's time for Rev. Blacks story to be over.
