Spellbound!

The story continues as Maerad and Hem struggle to reunite and solve the mystery of the TreeSong. Maerad is a powerful yet tragic character. I held my breathe waiting to see how the tale would end. I loved this final book and was completely satisfied with the conclusion....

the first book was excellent and it went down hill from there. this one gets fairly boring. cadvan disappointed me and hem was a pleasant surprise, he became a worthwhile character here. maerad finally discovers that cadvan loves her at the very end and once her eyes are opened NOTHING CHANGES until the epilogue, and then it still is not a satisfying conclusion.

    Fantastic

The Pellinor Series is in my top five favorites. One of the most gut wrenching series you will read within your lifetime.

    It's okay

Not one of the better books I've read. It seems to be a little flat in the storytelling (one of the main reasons it was so hard for me to get 'into' this series) and I never really cared what happened to the people in the story...mostly because I never felt tied to them emotionally.

    Amazing!!!

It was an absolutely amazing book that fits in greatly with the fantastic series!! I hope that Alison Croggon cares to continue to write because she has a huge talent for it. She has an unbelievable way to make you feel like your part of the story. If you haven't ever heard of the series you should get "The Naming", "The Riddle", "The Crow", and "The Singing" and read them because you are missing out if you don't!

    Wonderful Conclusion

I must say that this series is delightful and one of my absolute favorties. I love how much each character has grown throughout the books. One of the things I like the most about The Singing and the other books is the how the characters have so much depth. I have grown to love each character. Overall, I felt that this was a great conclusion to the series and Alison Croggon could not have written it any better. She writes with so much emotion, that you can't help but feel connected to the story. There were only a few things I did not like about the book. Like many fantasy books today, I did not agree with the philosophy in the book, it just felt so empty to me. I also wished that the ending would have been longer because the whole story was led up to the climax and then it ended quickly. I do recommend the Singing and the series to fantasy lovers and anyone who is in desperate need of a good book.
