One of my favorites of this series...
Lucern¿s story. He¿s an author and Kate is his editor. So far every book I have read in this series has humor in them. In my opinion, this one is the funniest! Loved it.

No! Yep, that's how it Starts!
This is book #3 in the Argeneau series. It's a pesky editor trying to force Lucern to do book signings and book tours. Every letter comes asking and his response is, "No. Sincerely, Lucern Argeneau". That just cracked me up. Well, the female finally decides to show up on his doorstep and confront him face to face. This is where the book gets funnier, steamier and just plain great!

Good Read
Although predictable, I still enjoyed this book. Taking each book as a separate story rathar than a continuing series helps. I would recomment this book to others.

Cute & Hilarious
I liked the storyline in this book... Lucern being as unwilling to do anything as he is to meet Kate who is extremely pushy. It's a very hilarious story with so many bizarre things that happen to them as they are trying to get their relationship started. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire book.

I usually really enjoy Lynsay Sands books, but
this book was truly awful. I've read every one in this series and this is the only one I didn't like. Although to be fair, I didn't read the entire thing. I lost interest during the first chapter, completely loathed the lead female halfway through and gave up on it entirely two chapters from the end.

The writing itself was good, I quite enjoy Ms.Sands style - it was the lead characters I simply could not warm to. I found Kate to be a shrew, completely unrelatable, unlikable and irritating to the point I wanted to reach through the book and smack her!
Don't waste your time with this one, the others in the series are MUCH better! -

I'm Not Sure Why I Kept Reading, But I Did...
Like many of Lynsay Sands' books, this novel manages to be both bracingly awful and compulsively readable. Sands' requires an almost impossible suspension of belief greater than that usually applied to romance novels or vampire fiction. I often wondered why I kept reading, even as I began a new chapter.

But, if the reader sticks around through the first 100 pages, they are well rewarded with might be some of the funniest and most memorable scenes in cheesy romance novel history. I may never be able to think about "debbies", Renaissance costuming, or condoms the same way again.
I had a hard time staying interested in the main relationship, and found their chemistry to be clumsy at best and forced at worst. I'm not even sure the author took her plot seriously- which isn't necessarily a bad thing and led to some of the great comedic moments. But the supporting cast was fantastic and I might actually pick up the other Argeneau books just to see what happens to the crazy characters running around in the background.
Overall, if you don't expect too much, you might enjoy it. For any Twi-hards looking for a new Edward and Bella, look elsewhere. For the rest of us, while it isn't going in my permanent collection yet, I may add it eventually on the merit of the condom scene alone -
A Single White Vampire, By Lynsay Sands
I really liked this book. It was thrilling and romantic at the sametime. It had an awesome plot, and I loved the characters who had their own personality. Also all the characters had amazing personalitys, that would make me laugh for days. I thought it had all the requirments that a book should have, and more... I would recommend this to all of my friends and maybe just wh i see in the grocery store.

I never thought I would be reading books about vampires, but I loved this book and this series.
I read another type of book by Lynsay Sands and enjoyed it, so I gave this series a try. I was hooked immediately. I love the humor and the fact that many characters run in and out of the whole series. I thought this was one of the most humorous in the series, and often found myself laughing out loud. I love this author and this series.

Haven't found something I liked after Twilight til Lyndsay Sands
I really enjoy Stephanie Meyers form of writing so it was hard to find something else that I wanted to read. A friend suggested this series since she felt the same way. I was hooked, I have all of the series now but started with this one. I couldn't seem to put it down, it made me laugh to myself and finished it in one day. This should of been the third book in the series, so now I'm reading the first book A Quick Bite. Each book can stand on it's own, but I want to read the series in order.
