Really?
I mean how sexy and beautiful does this man need to be! Ha ha! This book centers too much on seduction. The characters needed more depth. Madeline Hunter always adds some unusual plot line, but still mostly cliche.

I am this close to only giving it two stars
This is the first Madeline Hunter book I've read that I haven't enjoyed thoroughly. Usually her characters are so well brought to life that you can't help but be drawn into their stories, but this time it really didn't happen. I am not sure what was lacking, though of the two main characters I found the heroine to be the weaker, and mainly because the author only gives us pithy explanations for what motivates her. It made it feel as if she was just one dimensional with no depth. Luckily Hunter still has talent with prose, though this book is very conversational, or I doubt I'd even have bothered to finish it. I'd suggest you try other books from this author before this one.

Madeline Hunter's books
I have read both series from her and have passed them on to family members who also loved them. From the first book I read (By Arrangement) to the last (The Sinner) I just could not put them down. I finished one and couldn't wait for the next to come out. I would highly recommend all 10 books to all lovers of romance novels.

Absolutely Intriguing!
I havent' had time to read in a long while and saw this book read the preview and I was hooked!! The story is strong and the undertones kept me turning the page to find out more. After completing, the next day I bought the rest of the seducer series and the stories are just magnificent.
