Six Easy Pieces, 6 great short stories
Mosley does a great job compacting all of the necessary elements of a good story into a limited number of pages.

Mosley does it again
Easy Rawlings comes so easy to Mosley. I consider his Easy Rawlings creation a masterpiece. He certain did another good job with Six Easy Pieces. It was very wise of him to compile these short stories. This book will keep the reader entertained and wondering at the same time. I can't wait for the next Easy book to come out.

full circle
This was Mr. Mosely at his best. He was able to incorporate a multitude of his past characters, weaved them in here and there and Voila another masterpiece. And Raymond 'Mouse' Alexander, only he could have survived his own death. This storyline was written and executed without the use of the unbelievable or twilight zone antics.

MOUSE IS ALIVE!
I loved this book, just like all of the other Easy mysteries. Mosley has created such a believable protagonist. I feel like I know Easy and the repeat characters, like Jackson Blue, Etta, and of course Mouse. I was so excited to see that Mouse was alive. I loved all of the stories. The only sad part was when I finished the book. Now I have to wait to see what other antics Easy will get into.

A great anthology
This seven-story anthology focuses on the life of Easy Rawlins as he tries to serve as a role model for his two kids, be faithful to his sweetheart, and stay off the streets of 1964 Watts. Six of the tales were included one at a time with the recent releases of the first six Mouse novels. Yet in spite of the not long ago reissues of these tales, fans will relish seeing them along with one new story in this book though cost should be considered. As always the cast including the allegedly dead Mouse makes Walter Mosley¿s contributions so much fun to read. SIX EASY PIECES is an easy historical mystery read.
