one of the best in a great series

This is one of my favorite volumes in my favorite manga series. The author does an excellent job of portraying the tension as Ren is forced to confront and acknowledge his feelings for Kyoko, even as she starts to notice an attraction to Ren. Very well played out and leaves you hungry for more.

    King of the Night!

This is my favorite volume in the series because I like the Ren/Kyoko elements that are begining to work themselves in. The story's center is Ren who is having trouble finding his role in the movie they are filming. So of course Kyoko is willing to help him before he is fired and his career ruined. This makes for some funny (not hilarious) situations as the line between sexual feelings, love and friendship is tested.

The art is versatile and very polished but the unnatural tallness and wierd shaped male heads detracts only slightly from the story. I love this book and higly recommend it. It's not just your every day whinny girly girly manga. There is actually realness to it because the characters have to think their way through situations.
