5 year old and 7 year old love this book!

My kids love that these books come with a CD that they can read along to. Cute story and great artwork

Enjoyable

If I had multiple children I might have an issue with the fact the girls are always helping mama while the one boy (Skippyjon) seems to get away with everything. But since I have just an only son it's not that big of a deal.

    Tongue twister

I struggled to read this one aloud. Thankfully it came with a CD so I could listen to it first. There is a song/rap in the story line and the kids love this. I didnt quite get it right. The kids are well familiar with this series of books because they had heard them at school.
However I was very new to it and for me to read, I needed practice to keep the flow and get to grips with the story myself. Having some basic skill in Spanish would be a help too. Fabulously colorful illustrations!

    FUNNY

My 4 year old loves this story. He likes listening to the audio CD over and over while following the story on the book. A must read before bedtime.

    Great Purchase

I bought this book for my 6 year old. He read one of the other Skippy John Jones books in school and told me how much he liked them. This is the second book for this character that I have bought. I like how unique the characters are and how the author uses her words to convey not only just the main story but also the over all mood and age of the characters within the story. Skippy John is an identifiable character for my child and I will continue to purchase these stories for him.

    juju bee jewel

This book was my first purchase in this series of books. Wow! is it fun. My 5 year old loves it so we read it frequently. All the rhyming and creative names is great for 4-6 year olds. We use the names daily. I call him "pinky pie" and "chiwowow." I will definitely be buying more from this series.

    Skippy John Jones strikes again

We love the Skippy John Series and this was long awaited. Very funny with great illustrations as usual. This one had a few scary moments for little ones and not as hilarious as the first few books yet still worth the read.

    We love Skippyjon Jones!

We discovered the Skippyjon Jones books a couple of years ago, and have eagerly looked forward to each new adventure. This book is true to the spirit of Skippyjon and his imagination, but I will admit I liked the earlier versions a bit better. Regardless, these are wonderful adventures that are fun to read out loud, and are always full of laughs. I recommend Skippyjon for kids of any age.
