    Disappointing...

As I'm sure is true for many readers, I was eagerly awaiting another Sidney Sheldon book. It's the best way to escape everyday reality and get lost in about 350 pages of exhilaration. I picked up this one as soon as it came out in paperback. I finished it in a day and was swept up in the fast moving plot, but majorly disappointed... Sidney Sheldon usually delivers twists and turns that baffle. The only thing I was baffled about here was 'how could this be the same author that brought us 'If Tomorrow Comes?' Oh well, guess it's time to find the Millenium's master of suspense...

This is definitly not one of Sheldon's best. I simply could not get into this book.

    disappointing

i kept on reading this book thinking that something unpredictable may happen but sorry to say this was perhaps sidney sheldon's second most boring book after sand of times. an author who has given us marvels like stranger in the mirror, bloodline, nacked face and the other side of midnight this was pure disappointment. the secret underground city for which everything is supposidely happening does not even come into picture till end and even the pace is lacking.
