Susan Crandall's Sleep For Me is part thriller and part romance. Abby has spent most of her life regretting and trying to make up for the effects of one painful night. Abby comes across as a sympathetic character because she doesn't fixate on the past, doesn't complain, but takes real steps to fight her problem and to keep it from harming other people.

When it appears that her sleep walking has returned and Abby finds herself questioning her sanity, Dr. Jason Coble steps in just in time. The romance between Abby and Jason adds to the excitement, making Sleep For Me a fun and exciting romantic thriller.

Sleep No More by Susan Crandall

My Thoughts: I read this book in one reading session. Why? Because I was immediately drawn into the story by Abby Whitman's character. If you read the book information above, you know the guilt and life altering memories Abby lives with. But when I read that she never slept under the same roof with anyone for fear of causing them injury, my heart connected with this vulnerable and lonely woman who has the inner strength to deny herself, to keep those she loves safe.

Jason Coble, the local psychiatrist, makes a good counter-part to Abby's character. He's sensitive, vulnerable where his children are concerned, and sincerely drawn to the troubled Abby Whitman. Mixing these characters with danger, mystery, and intrigue will give you this satisfying and thoroughly entertaining read.

    Teaser Snippet:
~ Just days ago she'd thought she would never feel more vulnerable than she did when she'd discovered she'd been sleepwalking again. She'd been so wrong. This was a million times worse. Vulnerable, violated, and victimized.

    I Also Recommend:

I couldn't but this book down.

Susan Crandalls newest book takes you into to the life of Abby Whitman. A woman who fears the night and sleep. For Abby is a sleepwalker. As a child she started a fire that left her sister scared. Now as an adult her sleepwalking has apparently fatal results. This is Crandalls best read to date. The characters are fantastic and the plot will keep you guessing till the end. Susan is one of my favoriet authors her mysteries are full of twist and charaters that are intelligent and likeable.
