Robert Capa's style is humorous, yet serious and often gloomy. Still, his tale of WW II is one of the best written. It is a tale of a man who sacrifices everything for a few good photographs. Capa is often telling a tale from a civilian's point of veiw, unlike many other war novels. Scared half to death every day is what he had learned to expect and he wanted to be in the heart of the fighting. He is my ultimate hero and I would have really liked to meet him. Robert Capa's Slightly Out of Focus is one of my favorite books of all time.
