    Mudshadows path chapter 7!!!!

Mudshadow! Featherbreeze! Mudshadow! Featherbreeze! Mudshadow was so happy. The cheers of his name rang in his ears, As if it was a beautiful dream. But yet he couldnt stop thinking about Nightpaw... what was it about her that made him feel, just so happy? Shes a riverclan cat, hes a windclan cat. Its not like they can become friends? Mudshadow tossed and turned. Trying to get some rest before the gathering. Then Spottedears came over and sat down. "Mudshadow? Why are you so restless? You should be exsausted after the fight with that dog. Are you not telling us something?" Mudshadow looked away hopeing she doesnt suspect anything. "N-no! I wouldnt lie to my clanmates! Im just excited for the gathering... thats all." Spottedears gave him an odd look. Then shrugged and walked away to sort the herbs. Boulderstar got on the high branch and loudly said " Windclan! Its time to go to the gathering! The ones who are going come with me." Mudshadow got up and went outside, he heard Spottedears telling him to go easy on his shoulder. Then they were off. * * *
As they went to the gathering area Mudshadow searched everywhere for Nightpaw. Featherbreeze came over and said "Mudshadow? What are you looking for? Windclan is over here. What your looking at is where Riverclan is." Mudshadow ignored her, he didnt want to explain Nightpaw to her. When he finally found her he dashed towards her. Then Dappledrain stopped him. Mudshadow hissed with annoyence and growled What? Dappledrain mewed "what? Its just me! Why are you going over there? You do KNOW thats where Riverc-" Mudshadow cut her off and said "YES I do know! Now can I PLEASE go over there!? I have to do something to do." Dappledrain gave him a funny and confused look and went to where Quailfeather is. Mudshadow tapped Nightpaw's shoulder and said "Hey there Nightpaw!" Nightpaw turned around and purred "Nightpaw? Whos Nightpaw? Im NightSTREAM now!" She laughed and asked if he was a warrior to. "Hm? Oh yeah im Mudshadow!" "Oooooh! Cool name!" She was about to say something else until a sandy brown tom with while stripes and goldish brown eyes come over. "Hey Nightstream whos this little pipsqueak?" "Sandclaw! This is my friend, his name is Mudshadow." "Mudshadow huh? Arent you the apprentice who Orangestar almost killed? You should have never gone near the mighty Riverclan territory you tiny rabbit chasers" he teased. Mudshadow's claws slid out but he knew there was a truce. As much Mudshadow wanted to make him eat those words he couldnt. Nightstream saw how angry Mudshadow got and mewed angryley to Sandclaw "Sandclaw! Thats enough! You dont know what windclan cats are like! Keep your opinions to yourself!" Sandclaw just rolled his eyes and walked away. Then Nightstream mewed "Sorry about him, I dont know why he acted like that. Hes my best friend... hes always been quite humble and loyal. Well lets go under this holly bush so we can talk privately." Mudshadow couldnt help but notice how the moonlight made her pelt glow. And her eyes looked like stars... Mudshadow sighed. Then shook his head. "Do, do I LOVE her?" He thought. He shook the thought away and went to the holly bush. Nightstream smiled and lookef into his eyes. "Mudshadow, I know how badly Brightflower wants to go home... meet me tommorow night. At midnight. I will sneak Brightflower out of camp and give her to you. Meet me at th river" Nightstream nuzzled him and said "How about we see each other every night to." He smiledand said yes
