    Truly a conundrum!

Blauner illustrates the premise that darkness is not always confined to falling quickly like a rock from a lofty summit. It may descend slowly like a feather defying gravity in a gentle breeze. Hold on to your hats mystery fans as you weave your way through a tangled web of deceit and misdirection. The maze will make you wonder and debate reality in your mind as you walk in the shadows of the past. Read on and speculate what could have been versus the dramatic impact of haste and desire.

    A reviewer

This is a gem of a book that I picked up on the clearance pile at B&N, expecting very little. It turned out to be an exceptionally well written story that I recommend to anyone.

    Slipping into Darkness

This tale of murder is really a story of how turning a blind eye to evil only makes it stronger and can enhance its existance. It is well structured and easy to follow the plot, more so than some, but the ending is sad, redeeming and a matter of true justice for those involved. Only those that allow evil to grow can be the ones to attempt to cause its demise. While there is always good vs. evil, this ending is beyond that and hits home for anyone who regrets things they did not do.

    New Author discovered

Could not put down. Finished in 2 days, staying up well past midnight.. Throughly enjoyed the mystery and the character development. Will be looking at Mr. Blauner's past books and buying them up if they are as good as this.

    Slipping into Darkness

This is a well written tale of burden and severe illness that is purpetuated by ignorance and the inability to deal with the truth. While it has several levels to it the ending boils down to what most people would call 'justice'. A very good read.
