    FANTASTIC!!!!!

After reading Dani's book, Devotion, I had to get this book. A fantastic read. She pulled at my heartstrings in such a relatable way, I wasn't sure if I was reading about her or me. I look forward to reading more of her books.

I was profoundly moved by this true story, and even more so by the writing. So candid, honest, and engaging.

    Honest and Raw

This was one of the most emotionally honest books I have ever read. She makes you want to know her better because you see yourself in her....

Very well written and fascinating autobiography. Honest and open; Dani Shapiro wrote with great insight and with unflinching clarity.

    A Touching Story

Dani Sexton really exposes herself in this novel. She describes her self-esteem and emotional problems in a way in which many confused young women can appreciate. The novel wasn't suspensful or a page turner, but I had to finish it to appreciate this true story of her life.

    Finding Herself Through Tragedy

Dani Shapiro has written a wonderful novel that follows her life from a critical point that involves her parents in a car accident to her becoming a better adjusted young woman. I found this book very interesting as I followed Dani's healing preocess through a series of tragic events. As the novel ends, you are glad to see what has become of the author's life and it also makes you think of what will happen in your life as you think about your daily and long term actions.
