Gender neutral, grammatically confusing
This textbook has a lot of excellent cases, and a great way of explaining the topics. The only thing that threw me off was the 'gender neutral' way that they wrote the book. A topic will start off with the subject being referred to in the masculine sense (he, him) and you will later see them refer to the subject in the female sense (she, her). They should just cut that out, and just refer to the subject in one gender, or write a disclaimer that says they will use the tenses of 'he, him, his' to refer to all persons regardless of gender. Was this review helpful?
