bad decisions, can decide our future.

Snapshots by Paul Buchanan, is about a teenage girl who disappears, and the trouble her best friend gets into once she's gone. This book begins with a young boy named Jimmy, age 15, at a therapy session. You find out that Jimmy was court ordered to attend these weekly therapy sessions after he lit a fire in the canyon behind his home. Then the story goes back in time to revisit times in which Jimmy and his best friend Jen spent together. From here the book continues to go back and forth between the present and Jimmy's past with Jen; until it uncovers the story behind Jen's disappearance.

This book was a fairly easy read. I enjoyed this book because it was a mystery and it taught many important lessons throughout the story. It showed the dangers of meeting people online and portrayed how powerful friendship truly is. I found the character Jim to be a little odd, with the things he did throughout the story. Jim's initial intentions throughout the story were good, but I found the way he acted to be a little out of the ordinary, for example lighting fire to a canyon. I would recommend this book for any teenagers looking for any easy, interesting read.
