My mom started a tradition for all of us grown kids to get a "Christmas" book each year. This was this year's "Christmas" book!

Buy this book only if you want to complete the series.
Buy Snowmen All Year only if you want to own the complete series. Some of the concepts for having a Snowman All Year as a friend to pal around with really stretches the credibility and imagination of most school aged children. It is my least favorite of the three Snowmen books. Snowmen All Year is okay but not as great as the other two are.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I read Snowmen at Night and absolutely LOVED it. I had to have it for our grandson. I gave Snowmen at Night to him for Valentine's 2012. He LOVED it and his parents LOVED it, too. When I ordered that book I learned there are three in the series. So I had to order all three believing they would all be as wonderful as this first book.
My second favorite is Snowmen at Christmas. I can't wait to give it to our grandson to see his reaction to this second book of the series. If you only wanted to buy Snowmen at Christmas you can't go wrong because each book stands on it's own merits.
All three books are told in rhyming verse, similar to Dr. Suess. All three books have great illustrations. I especially like the idea of looking for hidden objects in the illustrations after you and your child have read the story. I hightly recommend the first two books in the series, Smowmen At Night and Smowmen at Christmas. Unless you are committed to owning a complete series skip Snowmen All Year.
