This books series really got me into reading. I was one of those guys that never liked to read, but after starting this series I haven't stopped.

For parents out there, this is a great book for your stubborn kids who don't like to read.

Thanks DJ, for getting me to read! I love the series. I'm sad it has to come to an end. But happy that it has been so great.

    Pendragon: The Final Chapter

The final installment of the Pendragon series, "Soldiers of Halla" by D.J. MacHale, is by far the best of the ten books in the series. The series is concluded with a final showdown between Saint Dane and the ten other Travellers. They finally discover the origins of the Travellers themselves, with a trip to Solara: the source of power for Saint Dane, the Travellers, and the entirety of Halla itself.

The book does deliver in most aspects, with a fairly gripping storyline, especially if you've read the other nine books in the series. It is a book that makes you want to finish the series as quickly as possible. The main problem with this final book in the series is that much of the action is extremely predictable: following the typical good-versus-evil style that books like "Lord of the Rings", "Harry Potter", and many others have done for years.

I would recommend this book to anyone that has read the other books in the series, as well as to anyone who enjoys books like the Harry Potter or Artemis Fowl series' books.

In All, A great finalization of the Pendragon series.

This book really ended the series perfectly. My only problem was the LAST chapter. I won't tell you about it and give away details, all I can say is that it really makes you confused and sad that the Pendragon series is at an end...but then again, that's what the great authors do with the last book. So, In All, A great finalization of the Pendragon series.
