    Great!

I love Carrie Underwood and this CD is a great first release! Once you get past the over played songs (which are still great when listened to sparaticly) it's really an amazing album! Hearing that she'd won American Idol when she broke onto the Country scene had me skeptical, but I watched a preview on CMT and decided what the heck and I'm so glad I did! Now that I have her follow up album as well I feel that she may have been somewhat supressed by winning AI. I think they held back some of her country to appeal to the pop croud thus why it gets a 4 not 5, but still a great album!

    Enjoyable CD!

Someone mentioned putting out different CD's for different genres. That might be a good idea. I particularly liked Before He Cheats, We're Young and Beautiful, Wasted and Inside Your Heaven.

    surprisingly good

I shouldn't exactly say surprisingly since I LOVE Carrie but I DON'T love country and since I knew that was where she was headed, I had some reservations about buying the CD. Anyone who loves Carrie will love it, she's just fun to listen to. Wasted is great, Before He Cheats is hilarious, even if it is violent and the title track is definitely one of the best. And while some of the others are traditionally country, they're not annoying country. Carrie doesn't have that sickening twang and it's not all about depressing stuff. The songs seem an accurate representation of her personality. Definitely a good listen.

    Missing Songs!!

Still going to buy it and still will be good, but "Angels brought me here" and "Alone" should have DEFINITELY been on it-- very disappointed that they are not. I hope its more pop than country, but I'll give it a try anyway...
