    song of the trees...

this book was very influencial to a child's understanding of when and when not to stay out of things. and i believe children should be taught at an early age what it was like for children in the 1930's and what struggles and what troubles they were not allowed to get away with, compared to where children are at today and how much trouble we get away with and the freedom we have.

    The Book is Great!!!!

Song of the Trees is a great book. I love it, my teacher had us to read and a write a essay on it. Although I didn't like the essay part I did love reading the book! When Mr.Anderson tries to mess with Big Ma he doesn't get the answer he likes. So Mama sends Stacey to get Papa from the railroad and when Papa get's back it's nothing but downhill for Mr.Anderson.

    Song of the Trees

I loved the book because Cassie can talk to the trees and they talk back and she's just like me. I can hear them talk to me and Cassie's family is just like mine. The book has black and white pictures and they're cool. When you read the story it's like you're there and when they're sad I can be sad too. It is nice to read a book that you can be in that is so realistic.

I Love It , What A Wonderful Author And Book

Mildred D.Taylor is a great author and so are her books. I read this book and I love it. I read it as a homework assignment. I thought it was boring until I saw the authors name.
