    This is one great read!

This is a wonderful story that touches on so many issues we are all going through in todays world. I loved the two main characters. This book made me cry, laugh, and totally touched my heart.

I'll be looking for more titles by this author!

    Sons in the Clouds

This was the first ebook purchased as a "guinea pig" for my android phone. Personally speaking, I like to hold an actual book but because I was intrigued by the storyline and the cost was reasonable, I decided to give it a shot. And I'm so pleased I did! I had to get use to reading it on my phone but the book itself made it easy because I enjoyed it so much. I found the story to be quite moving and inspiring. It is a wonderful story of friendship, unconditional love and bravery. I really enjoyed the author's writing style and use of imagery to tell his story........for me that made the book a good read. Look forward to more books from the author.

    Truly inspirational -- a beautiful, emotionally-charged novel

This was an amazing book. I loved the main characters and military-theme. I felt like I was reading a screenplay and his vivid imagery transported me back to the late 60s/early 70s and could feel the raw, emotional vulnerability of his characters. He touched themes that really tug at the heartstrings and some parts left me teary-eyed. The two main characters reminded me of Maverick and Goose from "Top Gun" but with more edge and personality. As the sister of two Naval officers, I could very much relate to the Navy theme interwoven throughout Mr. Mitchell's book. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for an inspirational novel with a modern twist. If you are a fan of aviation or military history, you will really enjoy the story!
