This is the second installment of Angel and Shane's story. It's Angel's sophomore year and Shane is about to graduate. Shane is considering a job that would mean moving to New York. Angel doesn't know what this means for their future. Unsurprising since they don't talk, about anything really.
They are both so hopeless at communicating.
Shane is clueless when it comes to Angel. Some of his actions, and the stuff that tumbles out of his mouth had me rolling my eyes in frustration. To be fair, Angel is a bundle of insecurity and doesn't do much to let on how he is feeling.
There was a bit of character growth. And we do see a resolution. They both figure some important things out. Although, I'm curious as to whether or not they will continue to have the same problems. I think they still have a lot of growing to do before they can have a healthy and stable relationship.
This was short and sweet (eventually), a little frustrating at times. But I was glad to see more of Angel and Shane. I'll definitely be reading the next one!
