Soul Intent is a sequel for Soul Identity. I bought this book after I finished reading Soul Identity, hoping for an equally fun read. Unfortunately Soul Intent fell a bit short of my expectations. While I found the story to be fun and entertaining, it jumped between several time periods, and did so abruptly resulting in a slight distraction from the story.

Beyond this; however, the story is a lot of fun, and is very entertaining. There are several twists that I didn't expect, and helped suck me into the story, making it hard for me to put down.

Overall, I highly recommend this book for fans of the original Soul Identity and its characters.Show Less

Maybe it was the Nazi connection throughout the book and the search for a lost treasure, but the storyline of Soul Intent reminded me a lot of an Indiana Jones type adventure. The main plot revolves around the Soul Identity corporation, a company that stores memories and personal effects for an individual's future descendants in his or her "soul line". The account of Herman Goering has been discovered to be missing a large deposit of gold that was left with Soul Identity only days before he was slated for execution in the 1940's. The story jumps between the modern day search for the gold and the post-WWII events concerning the deposit of the gold.

This is a fairly entertaining adventure/mystery. I haven't read the first book in the series, but except for a mention here and there of the events that happened last year and a reference or two to their prior adventures, this book is fairly stand-alone. The relationship between the characters is made fairly clear and earlier events really don't have much to do with what happens in this novel. The story-lines are pretty interesting and there are some good action sequences and tense moments that keep the reader interested and the story moving along at a good pace. I'd recommend this novel and will most likely purchase the first novel in the series.Show Less

    Great Concept!

2nd in the series and I hope there is more. Did you know you can bank your "soul" and all that entails? Even a Nazi can do it. Plot goes all over the world but is solved in the end, plus a love story to boot. Easy read.

    What a Lark!

The perfect book when you can't decide what to read. A little adventure, a little problem solving, off-beat characters, and a fast-moving plot. Great fun!

    Great Book

For a free book, I was expecting the usual spelling errors, but found none. Great plot, well developed characters, although the story did lag a bit in places. Hopefully the author will continue the series after the second book, which I just started reading.

    Even better than Soul Identity!

I loved it but you need a box of kleenex toward the end. More intrigue in this one. GReat characterizations and plot!

    Action thriller.

Tthe sequel to Soul Identity. The perfect book when you can't decide what to read! Full of action, creative spin on what happens to one's soul, and even a little romance. I hope the author comes out with a new series soon.

    Highly Recommend

I read the first book "Soul Identity" and was so pleased with it I got this second one. Both books brought a fresh twist to old plots with new and intriguing ideas. I enjoyed them very much.
