Review by Robin: From the first page to the last this is a book that keeps you wanting to read to find the outcome. It holds all the key ingredients for a great story. You have everything from danger and suspense, to romance, with some steamy sex added in.

For Kari Pierce, romance is just not something that comes easy when you have a secret that most men wouldn't be able to understand let alone handle. But, from the first time she meets sexy FBI agent Nick Murdock her world gets turned upside down.

Kari is on the hunt for an eight year old girl that was abducted. The best way to find the girl in the mountains is to shape shift into her wolf form. She is then able to track the young girl and her abductor.

But nothing is easy. She tracks the girl and captures the girl only to have the man that abducted the girl escape.

This is where the story takes a nice turn. Nick follows Kari as she goes for a hike. She is able to sneak up on him with no sound whatsoever, which intrigues him. They end up near a waterfall where the heat and chemistry that is between them takes off. Hot, animal lust takes over in the cave behind the waterfall.

Kari and Nick end up tracking and capturing the escaped man, leaving Nick with questions that Kari just won't answer.

Thinking Nick wouldn't understand about her being a werewolf, Kari leaves him and goes back to her world. With the help of his boss Nick finds the answers needed and goes after Kari.

Ms. Bybee leaves you wanting more in the romantic quickie. A nice short read for a busy day.

Too short

SPOILER ALERT : Way, way too short to be saying "I love you, even though you're a warewolf, please marry me. Could have been great if there had been more time for the characters to get to know eachother. I read this in an hour. ##

Fun quick read! Sexy, passionate and HOT!

There is quite a bit of story packed into this little novella! Kari is a private investigator who found a way to use her werewolf senses and abilities for the greater good. But it's not easy keeping the fact that your a werewolf a secret. So she has to be very careful. And a relationship, well that's just impossible. Until she meets Nick. Nick is an FBI agent who was working the case of a would be child molester when he met Kari. She sparked his interest as soon as he saw her. He definitely has a Alpha male side to him *YUM* ;) And he wants to know everything there is to know about Kari. They start to get to know each other and there are some nice and spicy moments ;) Nick realizes that there is something different about Kari, and he is determined to find out what it is because it is this secret that seems to be driving her away from him. I truly enjoyed reading this story. The characters were easy to adore. The romance was hot and the story moved along at a nice pace. If you're looking for a fun, quick read, you won't be disappointed with Soul Mate!

    Loved It!

I loved this book. It was fun, and sexy. The only complaint I have is that I wish it had been longer. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Wow something new in a shifter story...

I liked this story. It's not long, under 200 pages, and had a good story line. Kari is dealing with her status and not a damsel needing saving. Nick is a strong character who adds to the story besides being the hero. And the relationship between the two doesn't hurt the story either. Good read.

    Enjoyable but not mind-boggling

I liked it, but at the same time I was glad I didn't pay $7.99. Nuff said?
