    Best Yet of the Series

After reading this third installment of the Soul Mates series, I'm finding myself wanting to know more about Simon and Cyril, his brother. How interesting would it be to read a book telling their story of how Simon lost his wings and how Cyril went from being a Watcher to a Warrior? Jourdan Lane delivers a ten times better story than the second installment, 'Soul Mates: Deceptions'. I'm excited to read the fourth and final novel in the series to find out what kind of leaders and lovers Peter and Lucien turn out to be.
Caleb is in the dungeon waiting for his punishment to be decided while Lucien heals. Caleb was once loved and trusted above all others by Lucien, but now he is corrupt and damaged. However, is he too damaged beyond regaining their trust and love?
Peter is dying, and Lucien turning him is his only chance of surviving. His awakened dormant werewolf genes and the vampire/incubus blood are at war with one another. His body isn't able to decide to be a vampire or werewolf. However, Peter could be much more if he survives the turn. Becoming the first ever vampire/werewolf, he would be the most powerful Master of all time. Or, he will be a corpse.
First Peter's apartment was burned. Luckily, no one has lived in the apartment for some time since he's moved into the mansion. Then there is a gas explosion at Peter's estranged grandparents' house. Even though they were not close because of Peter's sexuality, their deaths are a tragic loose for him for now he has no mortal family left alive. Are these fires and explosions a coincidence, or is someone trying to kill Peter? If so, who or what could it be?
Silver has been the team leader by default, but now in the pit he has the chance to be named by Lucien the leader of the teams, chief of security, and protector of the coven, and also to earn the trust and respect of the pack and coven too. With a small and secret cheat from Peter to give Silver an edge, and a direct order from Lucien, Xander could lose his place beside both leaders of the coven.
Xander has ruined what he had with Peter when he went to Caleb's side, and supported Caleb even though what he done to Lucien and the coven was traitorous. Peter can no longer trust Caleb, and desperately tries to understand Xander's love for Caleb. Will Peter ever understand that kind of love when all it seems he does is sleep around? Could Peter stand by Lucien's side if their roles were reversed?
What sacrifices will Peter have to endure in order to enter this immortal lifestyle with the ones he loves and cares for, who have become his family, including those who break his heart? Is the price too high? Should Peter make the best of the last nights he and Lucien have together? Only reading Jourdan Lane's best Soul Mates book yet will reveal the sacrifice.
