This Book Rocks but was to short

The book South by Southeast by Anthony Horowitz is a hilarious and action packed book with lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing. The story is about two brothers named Tim and Nick Diamond. They are private investigators in England. At the beginning of the story they are immediately rapped up in a spy murder mystery when a spy is killed in there hands. They are then unwillingly draft into M-16 to find the mystery spies murder. In this action packed comedy you can expect to find many exciting twists and turns sure enough to keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The only bad part of this book was how short it was. It was an average Anthony Horowitz combining cunning wit and action packed fight scenes and exciting dialogue. This was one of the best books I have read in a while and is a must read for anyone who wanting adventure, fun, and anyone wanting a short and entertaining read.

    Great book!

Tim and his kid brother, Nick Diamond, are two normal brothers who live in London, well almost normal. The duo have cracked many cases but none of them, have prepared for this. One normal day Tim and Nick are visited by MI6 agent Jake McGuffin. He explains that he has uncovered a plot to kill Russian diplomat Boris Kusenov who will be visiting the city to by a famous painting. The only person capable of such a crime is the mysterious international killer only known as Charon. Soon the two are thrust into an international affair that will lead them from the streets of London to the canals of Amsterdam guided by Jake McGuffin last words south by southeast, and the secretive Charlotte Van Dam. The brothers are in a race against time to stop the assassination and prevent World War III. This book will leave readers on their seat till the very end. This will appeal to middle school kids who like a good mystery novel.

    Good!!!

This book was good. It had a good plot and a lot of action packed mystery. Like the previous books there is a twist at the end.

    Horowitz strikes again!

I love the Diamond Brother's mysteries! Like all the others, this book was hilarious and kept me guessing until the end. The only reason it did not get five stars was that it was so short compared to all the others. I read in less than a day. Other than that I would definately recommend it. Especially if you like deadpan humor.
