    Excellent Information

I am a designer for web pages and have read many informative publications, but this complete book was amazing. It explained all the new features of Front Page 2003. I have used Frontpage since 1996 and have never read such a complete and easy to understand book. A++

Excellent reference; tremendous amount of info

The breadth and depth of content are outstanding. The format and presentation of topic information goes beyond the cursory levels of so-called 'step by step' manuals while avoiding an overuse of techno-jargon. Provided the reader possesses a basic knowledge and understanding of computers and HTML, this is an excellent reference for basic topics (navigation, page layout, text formatting), moderate topics (subsites, macros, site development workflow, integrating with other Office apps), and advanced topics (designing your own web components). The info of greatest benefit to me have been the sections on behaviors (new for FP2003), JavaScript, and managing SharePoint sites (now tightly integrated into FP). Excellent manual and an excellent value, especially when also considering the included CD containing (among others) SnipView and WOPR.

    Nice Package ;-)

Nice to see something that wasn't rushed. This thing not only covers the basics well (nice move getting people who use the product in their 'day job' instead of just hiring tech writers) but it also hits the things they missed in the other books. This one covers ASP.NET, XML, Window Server 2003, Web Parts and the stuff I'm really interested in. It also gives 'real world' examples and help in the 'Front and Center' section at the end of each chapter - nice touch. Thanks Jim and Paul for giving us the whole story. Jim, the exclusive add-in you put on the cd is excellent (are you really not gonna ever sell it or put it at your site ;-)?) and, Paul, the videos on the cd are great - can we expect more at your site? The free trials are nice too! My only complaint is that it took so long to come out. If I would have had this a month ago, you would have saved me a lot of time.
