Though the concept of the book is very simple: just choose two colors and make half square triangles, the possibilities are endless. The easy to understand explanations and the diverse and wonderful quilts featured will make your fingers itch to try the idea with your own fabrics. The sewing required is basic and can easily be mastered by beginners. Nevertheless advanced quilters (especially those with lots of scraps) will love the chance to play with fabrics and to use up some uglies. I already made one quilt with red and green trangles and though some of the fabrics were horrible on their own, they work together well and the top looks good. The only problem is that I had so much fun making half-square triangles that the quilt will be enormous!
