Genesis of Controversy
This book was wonderfully organized and put together in a way that makes new readers to the Clone Saga easily understand what's going on. Personally I thought that the Clone Saga was a very bold and risky move on Marvel's part. Just the idea of introducing a clone of Peter Parker and essentially creating two Spider-Men in the same universe feels odd but it gets off to a good start in this first volume by providing a healthy dose of backstory for the character of Ben Reilly. The artwork is great with the exception of Sal Buscema's pencils. For some reason his artwork seems too cartoony. For any Spider-Man fans out there that want to read a story that's controversial, entertaining, and exciting. I would recommend that they read the Clone Saga and start right here with Book 1.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
