Spin Cycle

LOVE IT!!!!

This was my first Sue Margolis book and I'm in love!! If you enjoy lite, romantic, halarious with a bit of "WOW" thrown in every once in awhile you'll love this. The dialict from across the pond takes a bit to get used to but it's fun none the less. I am now on my fourth Margolis book and have yet to be disappointed.

A Clever & Spicy Read!

In the past few years I have read a few Sue Margolis books. Some were really good, others I could do without. When I picked up 'Spin Cycle' I realized it could be a hit or miss but I tried it anyway. For the record I am extremely glad I did. I absolutely loved this book! I liked the characters, I liked the whole idea around the book. Pitsy and her stealing Rachel's jokes, her parents keeping a 'DIRTY' secret, he gay ex husband and many more. I will def. try out a few more novels from this author, and am excited to see what else Margolis can produce!

LOVE THIS BOOK

Sue Margolis is one of my favorite writers of all times. Her books are gripping from the first page and laugh-out-loud hilarious. Every story has great characters, heartwarming plots, and hilarious dialoged. You'll fall in love with the characters from the beginning and want to read every book she has ever written. You won't regret this buy!!!

It was ok...

I found this book to be adequately readable....however I could easily put it down. I didn't find it that funny, and the way the main character cheats on her fiance is excused (I won't give away why), left me with a bad taste. Overall, so so.

1 word: Steamy!

Let me start by saying I haven't picked up a book since my last reading assignment in high school which was about 3 years ago! I read a small portion in my cosmo magazine and I just had to buy it! I have to agree that the dialect was a little hard to follow, but I did get used to it. This book had me laughing from beginning to end. Every time I put it down, I had to pick it back up. I read it in 3 days because it keeps you wondering what's gonna happen next. Definately one of the best books I've ever read! If you're looking for something to keep you laughing, that is also romantic, sexy, and steamy, I would reccommend this book.

Gawd! I would have clobbered Pitsy!

This book was so funny, i finished it in one weekend, well written, alittle hard to read at first because of the dilect, but you get used to it by the 3rd or 4th chapter. A must have summer read! I really was intune with the character, oh and if you read the book, you know exactly what my headline is ALL about! ( I'm not gonna spoil it for the rest of you, pick it up!)

Very exciting! Great characters! Stemy love scences! I literally couldn't put it down. A real must read.

A Fun Read

I really enjoyed this book. It was a good way to begin the summer. It had a funny twist but you could also easily relate to Rachel.

Funny, Cute and Erotic!

I currently got back into reading and picked up this book! Oh my gosh! I could not put it down! Very well written and VERY entertaining! This book was my "little get away" at the end of the day! Awesome...

I adore this book! The characters are well developed as is the plot. I couldn't stop reading this book. If you're looking for a laugh, a little tear and a good romp you've found the right book and the right author.

WOW!

I loved this book! It was the first one I've read by Sue Margolis, and I thought it was absolutley enchanting! I finished in 1 day!

Clever & Quick

Very clever and certainly a quick read. In fact, it borders on being more of a novella than a novel, but let¿s not quibble. Margolis does a much better job than many ohers at drawing an effective mental picture of a struggling standup comic. Even so, these bits are not the book¿s strongest. To be fair, it¿s very hard to do this ¿ ½ of our enjoyment of stand up comedy is in the comedian¿s delivery and timing and it¿s difficult for readers to replicate this while we are reading. What she is better at is gently poking fun at cultural style-setters, dentists, Jewish mothers, men ¿ well, quite a list. Her use of language is clever and she managed to portray absolutely absurd scenarios in a way that seemed normal. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of the romance between Rachel and Matt (the washer repair guy) ¿ they seemed to fall in ¿real love¿ pretty quickly (after a couple of fairly interesting sex scenes). But, since the whole thing is a bit of a modern fairly tale, perhaps that¿s just perfect. I really loved the insane rival comic (the airport scene is very funny) and Matt¿s flatmate, Tractor. Definitely worth a look.

This book is awesome. It's has all the combinations for a great reading experience. Ladies you may want to have a private reading group with that special someone for certain pages in this book. Tanatlizing and exciting are two familiar feelings during the whole book! Don't delay. Let your imagination run wild and enjoy the fantasy! DON'T DELAT...READ IT!
