To Keep By Your Side
Spiritual Pearls reads like a breath of fresh air: it's good tonic for the mind and sweet nectar for the soul. These anecdotal stories, arranged in topics on ethical and spiritual values, illustrate what a spiritual life should look like from the outside and feel like from the inside. Rajinder Singh has culled his tales from a wide variety of sources--east and west--selecting with care anecdotes that inspire in his readers a desire to lead a more harmonious life filled with compassion, humility, and inner strength--in essence, a life that is gracious and kind. Bound to bring a smile to your face and a shine to your heart, Spiritual Pearls will provide good company wherever you go.

Spiritual Pearls
I recently recieved a copy of Spiritual Pearls over the holidays and was intrigued by the short stories it contained. The stories range from 2-4 pages so they're quick to read and leave a lasting impression as they cross genres and offer modern leaders lives as inspiration. Each story can be read over and a different lesson learned each time. A throughly good read before bedtime!

Spiritual Stories
Sant Rajinder Singh's book is a collection of stories that cross religious and sectarian boundaries drawing the spiritual lesson from classic tales about past saints like the Buddha and contemporary examples such as the life of Mother Teresa. Each story is a nugget or pearl and Sant Rajinder Singh explains its spiritual meaning. The stories are all positive and hopeful. We need more books like this that encourage us to seek our higher self through prayer and meditation and still entertain us so thoroughly.
