Another terrific Spot lift-a-flap book
Spot books are so much fun, especially the lift-a-flap kind. This is a about 6" x 6" and is very sturdy. It is a good buy for the money. This book has just enough words on the page to make it interesting. It starts out with Spot telling his dad he can count to 10. His dad tells him to see what he can count on the farm. The first page asks Spot how many mice are behind the sacks of grain. Spot says "one," and the mouse says "hello." Another example is Spot climbing on a fence to look up in a tree. His dad asks him how many squirrels there are. The reader sees two squirrels in the tree, and when you lift the flap, there is a bird with the caption "Don't count me." Spot then says, "two." Other pages include 2 horses, four ducks, 5 pigs, 6 chickens, etc. I like seeing the character of the dad in the book. At the end of the book, Spot's dad tells him that he did a good job.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
