Give it a B (Stacey) - Give it an A(Reavis) - Give it a D (Cooks)
Unfortunately anthologies always lack consistency in the quality of stories. This one is no exception. But the story by Cheryl Reavis was really a very good story. Strong character an good writing. The Judith Stacey story average but nice. The Pam Cooks story about a female architect building a grand hotel in Nebraska did not ring true. It was a 1992 story with a 1892 date slapped on it. Unlikable characters with an unlikely story. Not wort buying for one good story. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
