Best read - 20th Maine at Little Round Top
Desjardin has obviously done extensive research in the developement of this book about the 20th Maine's defense of Little Round Top during the battle of Gettysburg. The narrative style of writing makes the book easy to read and difficult to put down. Even though I've read numerous other books featuring the battle, this book seems to clarify the battle as much as the fog of battle allows.
It's noteworthy that this edition of the book updates an earlier version of the same title. The author incorporated information that came his way after publishing the original book.
