    One of the best period....

If you havn't read Star Trek, only watched it...this is where you start. A fantasitic story about Riker and Troi shows you from the moment they met, the moment they met again and the moment they died. This book is a must for any Next Gen fan as well as old series. The second part explains from the end of the Next Gen where Worf and Troi were together to First Contact where they dont even seem to be friends. This book covers all the bases and an incredible read for Star Trek fans as well as romance fans.

    Still my favorite

I've read a few Star Trek TNG books by now and this one is still my favorite. I've always thought its good enough to have been a movie. This was in fact the first ever TNG book I read, highly recommended.

    Good. Story

I lookk at all things Trek but had never read a book about The Next Generation. I reaally enjoyed the way the story of Counselor Troy unfolded.well worth reading, even if you aren't a Trekker.

    Agreement with the Person below

The first Imzadi book, centering on Troi with Riker, was excellent, although I wonder if I'm saying that because of the time-travel element or because of Mr. David's great writing skills. The second one, centering on Troi and Worf, seemed kinda off to me...I had to at one point ask my father who Tom Riker was...and the fact that the Romulan plot wasn't as cool as the Sindareen one is also a letdown. I found the frame story, of Worf mourning the loss of Jadzia Dax, more engaging than the main story.

    Very good

This is one of my favorite Star Trek books. Finally you learn the whole back story of Riker and Troi. This would still be a good book even if you knew nothing about Star Trek. The second book is also a good book as it tells you aout the "relationship" of Troi and Worf. GOOD CLEAN FUN.
