    Great

Okay. So were talking a bout a kid's book. A little kid's book. I have one thing to say, when an author writes a kids novel and a adult can pick it up and enjoy reading it. That author has done a great job. Yeah Jude Watson

    The Jedi Quest series rocks!

This book is great! So far I've enjoyed every single book by Jude Watson. She's an amazing author. The story has a serious ending but it makes you want to find out more!

    Dang

I've read all the jedi quests so far and this is the best so far. It shows why alot af anikans frustration comes from obi-wan and the intensity of there relationship.

    VERY well done

A Senator's son, Gillam, disappeared from the elite Leadership School on Andara. The Jedi High Council sent two padawans undercover. ................ Anakin Skywalker would pose as one there by scholarship. Ferus Olin (Anakin's rival) would pose as the son of someone important. The teens' mission had two parts. The first and most important part was to locate and rescue Gillam. The second part was to learn about a renegade squad of young mercenaries that used the school as a training ground. .................. ***** Brava, Jude Watson! This, in my opinion, is the best of the J.Q. series thus far. Readers get to see another glimpse or two into Anakin's potential. The story is well written and the characters' traits are flawless! Highly recommended! *****

    books with broad appeal

I've been buying and reading all of the apprentice/quest books. I can say that I have thoroughly enjoyed the story 'between the stories'. Ms. Watson is filling in the gaps in the saga and writing books that I can enjoy as an adult and that my 8 year old son can also devour. I began reading them to make sure they were Ok for him to read but have continued because I enjoy the stories and character development. My five year old daughter will probably enjoy the books as well. They aren't just for boys. They are about relationships as well as having some great SF action.

    Great character study

Fans of JA/JQ will love this book. It's greatest strength is in its characterization of the Obi-Wan/Anakin relationship, which is more in tune with Attack of the Clones than any previous JQ book to date. Their problems are brought to the forefront, and their miscommunications and misunderstandings make sense with what we know will happen to them later. Great read!
